FERMIN RAMIREZ-SOLIS

Fermin Ramirez-Solis, CPA, joined ATLAS in 2014.  After more than a decade of wonderful contributions, Fermin now serves ATLAS at the Partner level, starting January 1st, 2025.  He provides audit expertise and accounting reviewing to our clients our firms Levelland, Texas location, where ATLAS is known as CMMS CPAs & Advisors PLLC.

Fermin obtained a Bachelors in Accounting to jump-start his profession.  He then achieved a Masters in Accounting from Texas Tech University in 2016.  Prior to his education, Fermin worked in the oilfield industry to help move equipment for clients.  He states, “This job helped me develop customer service skills because I had to effectively communicate with clients about their equipment needs.”

While he is well versed in the oil industry, accounting is his true forte.  Fermin’s father was an accountant, and his mother an entrepreneur.  “I became curious about how the business world operates and especially wanted to understand it with an accounting lens,” he elaborates.  His education, desire to provide excellent customer service, and familial background encompasses what is most important in his line of work.

Fermin best supports clients through uncertainty.  He explains, “I enjoy showing and explaining to clients what their options are in moments of doubt, as well as helping them finalize their financial statements.”  In connection with ATLAS/CMMS CPAs & Advisors, Fermin notes that the large and diverse team cultivates a positive environment with different perspectives and learning opportunities.  “I’m most excited [as a Partner] to have this opportunity to continuously grow, while helping our clients and staff keep growing.”
