ATLAS Expands Into West Texas

We are excited to announce three new ATLAS locations have been added to our West Texas territory:  Lubbock, Plainview, and Floydada.  This is an exciting expansion for the ATLAS family of firms.  These offices will operate under the name, CMMS CPAs & Advisors PLLC, which is an ATLAS Navigators LLC firm, and is the name already established for ATLAS offices in Texas.  Continue reading about this recent merger in our press announcement below.

 

Jones, Pendergast & Chappell, LLP (JPC) announces merger with ATLAS CPAs & Advisors PLLC, an ATLAS Navigators LLC firm.

Local full-service accounting firm Jones, Pendergast & Chappell, LLP (JPC) has recently announced their merger with ATLAS CPAs & Advisors PLLC (ATLAS), a regional accounting and consulting firm with established locations across Colorado, Arizona, Iowa, Illinois, Wyoming, and most recently – Texas.

The professionals at ATLAS provide high-value tax, audit, accounting, and business advisory services to their clients.  ATLAS has experience in a wide-range of other financial- and business- related services, bringing additional resources and expertise its new West Texas locations and teams.  ATLAS, operating in Texas as CMMS CPAs & Advisors PLLC, has expanded into new areas of West Texas with the acquisition of JPC locations in Lubbock, Plainview, and Floydada.  This, following ATLAS’s recent expansion into Texas, with offices in Amarillo and Levelland.

Now ATLAS Partner, Ray Pendergast, CPA, along with leadership team member Larry Jones, CPA, said, “We have joined the ATLAS leadership team and will continue to be part of managing our local operations along with the same great team members.”

Now ATLAS Partner, Darla Chappell, CPA, said, “Our goal is to continue providing high-quality services for our established West Texas clients, and we are convinced that with the additional resources available within the ATLAS family of firms, we will be able to expand the areas of services we provide.”

ATLAS is an acronym for Advisors That Listen And Serve.  Managing Partner Loni Woodley, CPA, said, “The name was chosen because of our commitment to the relationships we have with our clients.”

“We are excited and encouraged by the merger with JPC,” said Woodley. “Ray, Darla, Larry, and their teams will be great additions to ATLAS/CMMS.  Combining our resources under a single umbrella allows us to establish a regional identity, and we are excited to expand our reach in West Texas to better serve the great people there.”

“JPC” will now operate under the name CMMS CPAs & Advisors PLLC, an ATLAS Navigators LLC Firm, tying these locations to the ATLAS family of firms.  CMMS is the name already established for ATLAS operations in Texas, per a recent merger which resulted in the acquisition of offices in Amarillo and Levelland.  ATLAS Navigators LLC is the parent company over all ATLAS service lines.  These service lines include the ATLAS Accounting and CPA services, Investment Advisory, Human Resources, Information Technology (IT), Insurance, and Marketing.
